Use the 90 Dash Harness from a 90 Civic. That's the only way.

I used a 90 Si clutster on a 90 Civic DX - plugged right in.

However you will need to pull the dash. I can help you out for removal...but it is still a pain. Just removed a civic dash 1.5 weeks ago actually fo it's fresh in my mind.

I'm almost positive that you can only use the 90-91 cluster on a 90-91 car. 88-89 with 88-89.

The dash goes like this. There is a 10mm nuts to both sides facing door panels, flush with, remove plastic panels, small, and then pul out these bolts....center top their is a small 10mm bolt behind a small plastic cover, remove this....then their are 3 eac 12mm bolts at the carpet at the base of the center console, remove these, kind of a pain to get under the carpet for one to far right, then remove radio, pull out screws for AC controls, drop downward and remove the cable housings/lines for the HVAC system (AC Heater COntrols behind dash)...shouls be 2 or 3 each. These are a bit of a pain, but youll figure them out...remove the driver's vent cable, a real pain, but you'll figure out as well...disconnect the 3 or 4 connectors off the accessory fuse panel, very simple, and pull out the dash. Should take a newby about 1.5 hours at the most - and that's giving some play too.

Then just put the new dash altogether, much easier, or substitute harnesses out. You may even be able to buy the Si clock and install it as well at the same time...a good idea.

Oh, also make certain that to start you remove center console hood, fuse panel cover, glovebox, and use a 19mm and 6" extension to remove steering wheel - very easy, and 2 each screws for the steering collumn covers, and C-clip for covers holding it onto collumn...do this after wheel is removed. This stuff is cake.

    Well hope that helps.

sure thing. Make certain to compare connector ends at the fuse box before doing this to make absolutely sure it is compatible.
